Creative Resolution Wellness

Our psychological team is led by Creative Resolution’s founder and Mental Health Counselor Yvonne Haase. Yvonne is a highly skilled, specially trained clinician who provides a broad range of tailored counseling including: collaborative divorce parenting therapy, individual, couples, play therapy for children, family counseling and support counseling for teens. Her programs are designed to enable individuals, couples and families to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen decision-making.

In Yvonne’s signature program, The Collaborative Parenting Program, she expertly guides and therapeutically assists divorced couples in peacefully engaging in quality communication for the benefit of their children. So many times during divorce there is a tremendous amount of stress shouldered by the families, and many times the children experience the brunt of it. Over the past 11 years Yvonne Haase has worked with The Broward County Court
System teaching more than 40,000 parents how to successfully co-parent after divorce. After witnessing different types of results from this work she decided to launch The Creative Resolution Wellness Group which combines modern day psychology with ancient healing techniques to result in a more peaceful integration of mind and body.

Biography

Yvonne, a South Florida native, first became interested in psychology while leading school retreats for adolescents. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.

Yvonne completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Yvonne has worked with many populations, but found the most fulfillment in working with children and adolescents.  She began her professional career working as an in-home therapist for at risk children.  Here she provided children and families with appropriate skills in order to foster a healthy family environment. Yvonne began an extensive career in working with Domestic Violence, both as a facilitator for the Batterers’ Intervention Program and as a therapist working with children exposed to family violence.  Yvonne has provided training's in Domestic Violence to Broward County Mental Health providers, school personnel, and various other public forums.
