Join Creative Wellness and Spencer Jones Yoga for a mindful adventure into the winter wonderlands of Western New York with Yoga and Snowshoeing! A beginner friendly two hour snowshoe hike through the gentle hills of Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, followed by a 75 minute Vinyasa style flow in their indoor nature lodge.
Prenatal yoga provides a safe and supportive environment to help prepare moms-to-be, as well as time to connect with your baby on an energetic level.
In our March Workshop, we use essential oils and yoga poses specifically designed to create holistic alignment. The selection of oils and the order in which they are used is designed to move stagnant energy, detoxify the body, calm the mind, relax the body and restore equilibrium. A head to toe restorative practice of long held yin poses with a focus on breath, sensation and stillness teaches the power of scent memory. One-to-two minute hold times starting at the neck, shoulder and wrist then moving to the feet, ankles, thighs, and hips begins the process of calming the mind. Moving to the center of the body with passive yin poses held two and five minutes begins the process of relaxing the body. A long, final relaxation combined with the Balance Blend allows the body to assimilate this powerful practice and 'align with the core of our being'.

Yogic Sleep Yoga Nidra has the power to transform you at core levels. It is a systematic method of complete relaxation through each layer of your being the physical, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual layer’s or Koshas. In this class relax on deeper levels with a short relaxing Yoga practice then lay down and listen while you are being guided into Yogic Sleep/Yoga Nidra state of consciousness.
This 6 week workshop is designed to educate the student/client that has never taken a yoga class, as well as the student who either has little experience, or would just like to refine their current practice.
A yoga class specifically designed to promote fertility, as well as a balance our emotional well being. Poses, meditations, relaxation and support will be included to balance our energies, increase blood flow and prana to vital organs and build confidence and serenity within.
Community Herbalist Sarah Sorci of Sweet Flag Herbs will discuss identification and harvest, properties, and uses of elderberries, as well as common syrup additions like rosehips and astragalus root. Participants will enjoy a demonstration of syrup preparation, and take home their own bottle made with local raw honey and rosehips. Recipe will be shared as well.
Join local musician Nick Thurkins and EssentialYoga Ambassador Anna Sassanelli for a unique evening of sound healing and aromatherapy at Creative Wellness. Our unique Sound Bath is a meditative event that supports states of deep relaxation, stress release and deep peacefulness where healing can occur. A gentle yet powerful experience that will include active and passive meditation techniques where you will be fully emerged in the vibration and frequencies of sound while a powerful combination of therapeutic oils will surround you to enhance the body’s innate healing capabilities and increase well-being.

Before deciding on the cause and effect between inner beauty and its outward effect, let’s define inner beauty. A fair and practical definition would be a balance between emotional and physical health. A life that has proportion—work/productivity, recreation, diet, exercise, and even a proper amount (as opposed to a complete absence ) of stress. Inner beauty means spending energy and care to concentrate and take care of your mind and body. We are going to add to that and teach you how to take care of the outer as well. We are going to enjoy some wine, cheese and conversation, integrating various aspects and bridging the gap between inner and outer beauty.

Join us for an introductory experience to Present Moment Awareness Meditation with certified meditation teacher, Tobi Stewart. There is a lot of excitement in the air about how beneficial a daily meditation practice can be. Making it a part of your wellness regime can be easy and fun when you have someone to show you how to get started and to answer any questions you might have. If you feel like you cannot sit still or quiet your mind then meditation is perfect for you! Beginners and first time meditators, and meditators who are struggling to make a practice a habit are encouraged.
All people deal with depleting daily stressors. The additional stress of a caregiver's journey makes a self-care regimen all the more important. Come and learn how to create a lifestyle which includes restorative meditation, intentional relaxation, and grateful living to help you thrive in your caregiver role.
Each 2 hour session will combine lecture, discussion, yoga based breathing & movement, and self-care practices you can do at home in between sessions. Classes are appropriate for all levels of yoga practitioners - beginners are welcome.

Registration for classes and workshops are all handled through the MindBody system so when you click on any button to "register" you will be taken to the MindBody site to view our classes and workshops. If you do not already have an account with MindBody for Creative Wellness you may be asked to select us as the studio you are seeking and asked to create an account. You will then be able to purchase class passes, enroll and pay for workshops, book sessions with our independent providers, even purchase gift certificates. You will also receive appointment and class confirmations, reminders, and receipts this way. If you are a fan of doing things on the go you can download the MindBody app for your phone or tablet from your appropriate app store.
