  • What are Chakras?

    The word “Chakra” is a Sanskrit word for wheel. Chakras are vibrational energy centers in the body, and there are 7 main chakras found along the central meridian of the body. They extend about 4-6 inches or more away from our body and absorb energy from the space around us as they spin.

    They are considered to be open and balanced when we are in a state of optimal wellbeing.

    There are colors associated with each of the main chakras, but there can be variations, as each individual has their own “blueprint.”

    What is Eurythmy Therapy?

    Eurythmy means “harmonious movement”. Developed by Austrian scientist, philosopher, and educator Rudolf Steiner, eurythmy is based on the recognition that certain archetypal movements and rhythms correspond with the sounds of language and music. These sounds, movements, and rhythms also affect the human being’s sense of harmony or well-being.

    Eurythmy was first created in 1912 as a form of artistic expression and, soon after, as a means to support healthy development in children.
